Call for Papers

The 3rd International Conference of Microfluidics, Nanofluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip(ICMFLOC 2020) aims to bring together scientists, engineers, educators, student and industry around the world to share their latest research and development in lab-on-a-chip technologies and applications in biology, chemistry, materials and engineering, and to inspire new efforts to advance the frontier of the research. The conference will include plenary, keynote and invited presentations, contributed oral and poster presentations, as well as panel discussions on the current status and future directions of Microfluidics, Nanofluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip. Technical papers or extended abstracts are solicited in, but not limited to the following areas:

1. Fundamentals in Microfluidics and Nanofluidics

2. Droplets, bubbles and digital microfluidics

3. Electrokinetic flows

4. Single cell analysis

5. Detection and sensing techniques

6. Lab on a Chip

7. Optofluidics, Acoustic Fluidics, and Magnetic Fluidics

8. Particles, Cells and organisms

9. Sample Processing and Separation

10. Heat and Mass Transfer at Micro and Nano Scales

11. Organ on a chip and drug screening

12. Micro and Nanoengineering

We will select some articles to be published full research papers in the Micromachines (latest impact factor 2.426, keep increasing every year) and Electrophoresis(latest impact factor 2.754, keep increasing every year)special issue.

Dear ICMFLOC2020 Participants,

You must have heard the news of the current outbreak of 2019-nCoV virus in China. Guangdong province where Shenzhen is located is also influenced by the virus outbreak besides HuBei Province (with Wuhan as the capital city), albeit at a much smaller scale. We are concerned about the potential risks you might be exposed to during the attendance of our conference, learning from the experience with SARS in 2003. While we are positive that the virus will be well under control by the time we will host our conference, the propagated impact might still exist. We will keep a close eye on the situation and inform you of potential change of conference plan if needed as soon as the situation is clearer.

Thank you again for your contribution.

With Best Regards

Sincerely yours,

ICMFLOC2020 Co-Chairs

Prof. Yonggang Zhu (Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen),

Prof. Xingyu Jiang (Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen)
